How to Get Your First Clients within 3 weeks

I’m back,!
So before I tell you exactly how I got that first client in 3 weeks... let me tell you WHY I did it.


Because the WHY is important. WHY is the philosophy behind EVERYTHING. I do.
Okay, let’s set the scene...
I was working in Harley Street In London as a Psychologist, counsellor, hypnotherapist and trainer for someone elses company !!

But ..
I’ve always wanted to own my own business.
I knew I wanted to be my own boss.
I knew I wanted to have the freedom to do the work I loved.
I KNEW I didn’t want anyone telling me what to do.
So I did it. I started working for myself on the side. I found a handful of clients. I delivered some pretty good work ..

But guess what... I HATED it.
Most of my clients were NIGHTMARES 👹💩
...they didn’t pay on time
...they didn’t value my work
...they constantly asked for discounts
...they always wanted me to do "just one more little thing" for free

and to top it off, they were hard to find! I was always hunting for the next one. Then, if I DID find one, I’d have to "sell myself" and answer questions like "why should I pick YOU?"
So I quit.
I decided I hated working for myself !!.
And I got a corporate job in marketing .
Luckily, the nightmare of my corporate job and commute back and forth forced me to re-evaluate that decision pretty quick.

I knew I might die of boredom or do something to one of my colleagues made me frustrated and frankly depressed .. so I decided to try again
But I knew I couldn’t make the same mistakes as before...

So I took my own listened to my own advice !! .  👈 
I focused on my WHY and I set a few rules about what I did and didn’t want for my business.

🚫 I didn’t want to cold call or send cold emails. ever. It’s gross.
🚫 I didn’t want to have to put on a fake face to impress my clients. I just wanted to be ME.
🚫 I didn’t want to "sell" my services. I wanted my work to speak for itself.
💛 But, I DID want focus on doing what I LOVE to do.
💛 I DID want clients that saw the value in my services and GOT RESULTS.
💛 And I DID want to make enough money to afford the lifestyle I wanted to live. 🌴⛰🍻

So I built my business with those ideas at the core.
And my first client came (and paid me £4,000 , i was living in England at the time) within 3 weeks of implementing it.

Here’s how it went down:

  • She had never heard of me before; She stumbled across a post in a Facebook group.

  • She read the post.

  • She liked it .

  • She went back to my website to learn more about me.

  • 10 days later, she booked a £550 Intensive (without asking any questions or speaking to me at all. Just booked it online, paid the money, and scheduled her time.)

  • 4 days later, I delivered VALUE in the Intensive (👈 remember, you have to be good at your thing for this to work).

  • At the end, I said "Here’s the next step. It’s £4,000."

  • She said, "Great. Where do I sign?"

  • 4 days after that, we completed her package, she loved it, I loved it, and she wrote me a glowing testimonial.

  • We all lived happily ever after. The end.


Pretty cool, right?!

And guess what, . It can be as simple as that for you, too.

You don’t need big fancy systems or sales funnels.
You don’t need to spend hours and hours posting in groups and hoping for responses.
But you DO have to be willing to put out the effort.

So, are you up for a little homework?

Find YOUR why.

  • What are you passionate about doing? The kind of thing do you WANT to do every day. Maybe you’d even do it for free if money wasn’t an issue.

  • What motivates you? Money? Impact? Freedom? 

  • What kind of results do your clients need / want ?

  • What results do you want your clients to get? How do you help them get there faster?

  • What do you HATE doing? How can you set up your business so you don’t have to do those things anymore?

  • What can YOU give to your clients that no one else could possibly give them?

  • What would you spend extra money on if you could? A housekeeper? A personal trainer?

  • How much money would you need to make to reach those goals?


The answers to all of those questions should play a part in developing your business

Here’s the thing...
💛 You are your unique selling proposition.
💛 You are your differentiator.
💛 You are your "special sauce."
💛 You are what your clients can’t get anywhere else.
💛 You, are the most valuable part of your whole business.

That’s it.

That’s the "thing" that makes it work.
It really is that simple.
It’s just not easy... If it were easy, then everyone would do it, right?

It takes strength to put yourself out there.
to open yourself up for the whole world to see.
I mean, it could just be me... being my hyper-introverted-self... but I doubt it.
I’d bet lots and lots  that it’s hard for everyone.

But you’ve landed in the right place,

I’m here to help you figure it out.

Starting right. NOW

There are basically four things you need to know about this business branding thing:

  1. You are your brand. That means your personality – but it also means your dreams and goals and desires, too. I’d bet that your idea of success isn’t exactly the same as mine. And the day-to-day tasks you do in your dream business are probably a little different, too. Once you gain some clarity on what you actually WANT your business to look like, then you can make a plan to get there. 

  2. Your ideal clients LOVE you. They love the real you. They don’t want you to be anything but yourself. And I promise you a big tub of hagan-daz ice cream that they’re out there. You just have to know where to look for them. 

  3. You have incredible VALUE to offer. You just have to learn how to articulate it in a way that your ideal clients immediately "get " and are willing to pay for it.

  4. Designing you business comes next. I know, I know. You’re thinking "I wanna’ play with logos and fonts and color palettes and packages and …..noooowwww!" I get it. It’s really fun. But let me just ask you this... are you also thinking "I don’t really know what I want, but I’ll know it when I see it."
    Because if you are... then several things will happen if you try to design your business now.
    1. Your going to get disinterested, disheartened, waste a lot of time and money trying out different things and you are maybe going to lose interest and hate it.
    2. You’re going to spend waaayyyyy too much time trying to get it right.
    Because you’re not ready yet. 


And, I lied, there are 5 things.

And 5 might even be the most important one…

5. You can do this, … it just takes a little mindset adjustment which we will look into soon I promise !!


No one knows YOU better than you.
You’ll have to dig a little, but it’s worth the work.
