The Truth About Stress And Hypnotherapy For Stress Management

stress-anxiety-relief-hypnosis-fbshareproduct-1522072428.png

How often do you find yourself wondering what is the best possible way to reduce the stress in your life?

You are just an average person with a normal life, decent work hours, and a family to care for; yet you can’t help but court stress in every aspect of your life. Be it presentations at work, failing to be at your daughter’s fancy dress competition, or forgetting your anniversary…you seem to be meeting stress at every corner. And you have been spending hours mulling over what is the best possible way to reduce stress – have you ever thought of trying hypnotherapy for stress management?

Stress has slowly seeped into every aspect of our life, and we often find ourselves blaming the fast paced life, the rat race and anything else that we can think of.

We often think of stress as a negative force, something which will lead to nervous breakdowns and heart attacks. When I counsel my clients during hypnotherapy for stress management sessions, I often tell them that they should learn to look at stress not just as a negative factor; the truth is that stress can be a positive force as well.

Don’t believe me? Well, look at it this way…it is stress which drives us to do better, to put in our best efforts into anything we do. It is stress that pushes us to work towards our goals or helps us get out of a rut. We often increase our stress by stressing about stress! Sounds confusing, well it is.

Stress as a force confounds our brain, and hinders our ability to think straight. That’s why we end up doing stupid things when we are stressed.

Have you ever found yourself wondering why you fought with your spouse/partner while at work; the issue that you fought about may even seem trivial to you now.

This is the classic by product of stress; most people who are stressed out tend to do things without thinking them through, their thinking abilities are blocked either by anxiety, fear or confusion. It’s like the wiper on your mind’s windshield suddenly fails to function.

Hypnotherapy for stress management enables you to understand stress for what it is; by working on the rules of relaxation and positive reinforcements, hypnosis helps you get to a calmer state of mind where you begin to see things clearly again.

Hypnotherapy for stress management also makes you realize the cause of the stress and slowly nudges you towards dealing with those causes. With the help of techniques and auto suggestion, it instructs your subconscious mind to deal with a situation better.

Let’s face it, we live in a very hectic world and all of us seem to be running around for something or the other. More often than not, we fail to take out time for ourselves from our busy lives.

We don’t find the time to relax, to put up our feet up and forget every care in the world. We get stuck into a routine which seems impenetrable.

The initial way hypnotherapy for stress management helps you during stressful times, is that it provides the perfect opportunity to relax. It lets you drift into a comfort zone where you rediscover yourself;

Hypnosis guides you towards using stress as a positive force in your life. It also helps you remember things that make you happy, and helps your mind retreat to these happy images and places every time you are negatively stressed out.

The antidote to stress is relaxation; and hypnotherapy for stress management gives you the perfect excuse to relax. So go ahead, try hypnotherapy and relax away your stresses!

Is social media ruining your relationships ?

is social media ruining your relationships.jpg

It is normal to argue or bicker with your partner. But do you argue just because they liked someone’s profile photo on Facebook? Have you ever felt humiliated because your partner couldn’t stop checking their Instagram updates while you tried talking to them? Have you ever snooped on your partner’s WhatsApp just to check whom they are chatting with?

There is no denying that social media has become an integral part of our lives. It may facilitate better communication with people, but addiction to it can become a hindrance or a reason for a communication gap with people around us. Let’s have a look at the ways how social media destroys relationships.

Can Social Media Really Destroy A Relationship?

Social networking sites or social media platforms help you connect with people and exhibit your achievements, talents, and personal life. And through these sites, you start living an online life where you can be anything you want. This online life shows people only what you want them to see and portrays a fancy picture of you. When your online life overshadows your real life, it is bound to impact your personal relationships. You start to spend more time online than interact with your family and friends.

Like most other addictions, fixation with social media is not healthy and can affect personal relationships. Below are some reasons that explain the bad effects of social media addiction.

15 Ways How Social Media Destroys Relationships

Although social media is supposed to be a useful communication tool, overusing it can affect personal relationships in the following ways.

1. Your past may interfere with your present

You may be happy with your current partner. But when an ex messages you on your messenger, it can refresh memories and tempt you to get back with them. You may not have any wrong intentions, but the fact that you are in touch with someone you once shared a close relationship with might make your partner feel insecure and even cause friction between you two. It is best to keep your past from interfering with your present.

2. Phubbing can be humiliating

Phubbing is a term used to explain the habit of ignoring or snubbing someone present right in front of you by being engaged with your phone (1). Imagine how awful it must feel when you tell your partner how someone was mean to you at work, and they suddenly guffaw because they saw a funny meme on Facebook. Such behavior is sure to hurt anyone emotionally.

3. Your virtual life can take over your personal life

Your partner plans a romantic date night for you, and as soon as you reach the restaurant, you first check your Facebook update. Then, you click a lovely couple photo as soon as you get to the table and upload it as your WhatsApp status. When your food arrives, you cannot have it immediately because you are busy trying to get the perfect shot for your Instagram. And then you spend the rest of the evening checking the likes and comments on your pictures. This unending obsession with social media might frustrate your partner as you two hardly get to speak to each other the entire evening. The need to have a cool virtual life can damage your personal life.

4. You may find it difficult to avoid temptations

Social media has made everyone “approachable.” People who we would not approach in real life become easy to talk to online. This ease in communication makes you want to explore your options in terms of dating and romance. This could lead you to cheat on your partner because it is easy to flirt from behind the safety of a phone or a computer screen.

5. You may become less interested in each other

Previously, couples would enjoy cuddling on the bed or sofa, but nowadays, couples reach straight for their cell phones instead of talking to or holding each other. Even before getting intimate, couples are often on their phone instead of indulging in some fun foreplay. Over time, this could lead to dissatisfaction in bed and a total lack of interest in physical intimacy.

6. Your expectations from your partner may change

When we see our friends put up lovey-dovey couple photos online, we too wish to do the same. This can lead to conflicts, especially when your partner is not able to meet your expectations. By posting romantic images and status online, we manage to paint a rosy picture, but in real life, we lose chances to strengthen a love relation. This public display of affection instead of a personal conversation can have a negative impact on couples.

7. It may intrude on your privacy

Some people are obsessed with generating online buzz that they upload pictures of even their most intimate moments. When you do it just to prove that you have a great relationship, it does nothing but steal your precious private moments of happiness and leaves you with a desperate need for validation.

8. Unwanted attention can spoil the mood

You are on vacation with your partner on an exotic island. You post a picture on the beach and are glued to your phone to check the likes you get. Someone posts a nasty comment that spoils your mood and ruins your vacation with your better half. People’s opinion matters, but you should not seek it for every event in your life. Let some special moments be exclusive for only you and your partner.

9. It can make you insecure

It is not uncommon for spouses to check the reactions to their partner’s status and pictures online. You want to know who is commenting on your partner’s posts and what your partner is replying to them. And if you spot their former love interest or someone they once liked comment on their post, the insecure part of you might just get into an argument with your partner over it.

10. It can dwindle intimate personal conversations

When you started dating your partner, you must have spent hours chatting with them online. Back then, your heart would ache from wanting to meet them personally. Now that you are right next to them, all you do is flick through one social media to another on your phone. Addiction to social media can eat into your personal time and dwindle the intimate conversations with your partner.

11. It could lead to unhealthy comparisons

You may have a happy and content family life, but the moment you see your friend partying at an expensive club with their partner, you will feel unhappy about not being able to do the same. You may feel that your friend is happy with her spouse while you are living a boring, average life. This comparison may lead to discontentment in life and cause strains in a relationship.

12. It can deprive you of attention in real life

Your partner may put up a mandatory “Happy Birthday” post for you online, expressing how much they love you. But if they do not even offer a warm kiss on your birthday in real life, what is the point of it? Partners feel that posting a public love declaration is now enough to keep your partner happy. This thought is wrong, and the lack of personal attention in real life can take a toll on your relationship.

13. Posting every emotion online can cause unwanted fights

Imagine your spouse returning home angry because their colleague asked them about your fight that morning. How did they know? They read your cryptic post about marriage being difficult and your spouse being uncaring of your feelings. Online posts often display what you may be feeling in real life. This habit of yours can annoy your partner and cause unwanted fights.

14. Stalking can become addictive

Your spouse may have revealed about their past relationships or romantic conquests to you. You may act unaffected on the outside, but the moment you are alone, you might check out their “ex’s” online activities. You might start feeling jealous and may obsessively stalk them to know more about them and check if they are in touch with your partner. This obsessive behaviour is toxic for your relationship.

15. You may need to live up to people’s expectations constantly

The need to maintain a happening social life may make you want to live according to it. You may want the latest gadgets or luxury products to be able to show off online, and you may start visiting restaurants and other places not because you are interested but because of all the hype around it online. Your need to update your social media can affect not just your bank balance, but also your relationship with your partner, who might disapprove of this behavior.

Let’s admit it; we all have indulged in stalking other people’s social media at least once. Everyone wants to know where someone is working, whom they are married to, and where they are vacationing. This need to know other people’s business leads you to feel inadequate and affects your self-esteem. But remember, if you are not happy with yourself, you cannot make someone else happy with you. Social media is a powerful tool that can help you in many ways, but misusing it will steal your happiness and ruin your relationships.

Build Your Self-Esteem With NLP & Self-Hypnosis

A social phobia is a fear of interacting with others on a social level. Examples would be talking in front of other people, waiting in a queue at the checkout imagining others are looking at you, or even fear of talking on the phone.

Self-confidence is a feeling that allows people to have positive, yet realistic views of themselves and their circumstances. Self-confident people have confidence in their own abilities, have a general sense of control over their lives, and believe that, within reason, they will be able to do what they want and need to do.

Confidence is a perspective that is accomplished through experiences. When a person experiences success, that person will tend to expect to be successful. And that very expectation will cause a feeling of self-confidence.

For example: A man wants to be a professional boxer, so he gets a manager and takes lessons. His manager will not put him into a bout until he has developed enough proficient fighting skills. And even then, the manager will only put him up against a competitor that he knows his fighter can overpower. When his fighter beats the opponent, he is successful, and starts to gain confidence in his capability.

With each match, the manager puts his prizefighter up against a contender who is a slightly better challenger then the last, but not good enough to beat his man. By the end of the third fight, the young contestant begins to expect to win his fourth, and so his confidence continues to bloom. This series of events continues to repeat itself. And as long as the fighter contestant is victorious, his expectations of success, and his feelings of self-confidence will continue to escalate.

As another example: A young lady who is scared to death of being in high places wants to learn to dive into a swimming pool from a very high diving board. So she finds a diving coach who asks her to take a jump into the pool from the first rung of the ladder going up to the high diving board. The first step of the ladder is not awfully high, so the young lady feels confident, and she dives from that rung, and lands in the water unharmed.

Next, the athletic coach has her take a jump from the second rung of the ladder, and so forth. I assume that you see what's going on here. With each new step she takes as she climbs higher up the ladder, since the girl was able to jump without fear or harm, and the next higher step is only slightly higher then the last, the fear factor is negligible, and the girl expects to be successful. When she dives in and is unhurt, the girl's self-confidence increases, and her expectation of success on the next step up the ladder increases.

If a person who has a long history of success and feelings of confidence does fail, they still tend to expect success the next time out. Conversely, when a person who isn’t as strong in the self-confidence department fails, they tend to lose confidence, and expect failure, which can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Having true self-confidence doesn't mean that individuals will be able to do everything. People, who have true self-confidence, usually have expectations that are practical. Even when some of their expectations are not met, they continue to be confident and to accept themselves.

Anxiety-phobias-fears-compulsions-best-expert-help-USA-UK-London_opt.jpg

People, who are not self-confident, tend to depend excessively on the approval of others in order to feel self-confidence. They usually don't take risks because of the fear of failure. They make light of themselves and tend to discount compliments that they receive.

Conversely, confident people are willing to risk the disapproval of others because they generally have confidence in their own prowess. They acknowledge themselves; and they don't feel they have to conform in order to be admired.

Just because one feels self-confidence in one or more parts of their life, doesn't mean that they will feel overconfident in every single part of their life. For example, a person might feel optimistic about their athletic prowess, but not feel confident as far as members of the opposite sex are involved, such as in a dating situation, or social relationships.

HOW IS Self-confidence Initially developed?

Many powerful and effective truths have an impact on the development of self-confidence.

Parents' attitudes are critical to the way children think about themselves, especially in their early years. When parents provide admiration, children receive a solid foundation for self-esteem. If one or both parents are excessively demanding or critical, or if they are overprotective and discourage moves toward independence, children may be fated to believe they are incapable, inadequate, or inferior.

However, if parents encourage a child's moves toward self-reliance, and they are not overly critical when the child makes mistakes, the child will learn to accept herself, and will be on the way to developing self-confidence.

A lack of confidence is not necessarily related to a lack of ability. A lack of self-confidence is often the result of centering much too strongly on the expectancy of other people in particular friends and parents. The control of peers can be more powerful than that of parents in shaping the feelings about one's self.

Assumptions That Continue to Affect Self-confidence

In response to external influences, people create beliefs. Some of these are helpful and some are not so helpful. Several assumptions that can interfere with self-confidence and positive ways of thinking are:

ASSUMPTION: I must always be successful at every challenge that I undertake. This assumption is a totally unrealistic assumption. In life each person has his strengths and his weaknesses. While it is important to learn to do the best that one can, it is more important to learn to accept yourself as being human, and deficient. Let yourself feel good about what you are good at, and accept the fact that you don't know everything and you don't need to.

ASSUMPTION: I must be perfect, and loved by everyone, and satisfy everyone. Again, this assumption is a totally unrealistic assumption. All human beings are less than perfect. It's well advised to develop personal standards and values that are not very dependent on the approval of other people.

ASSUMPTION: Everything that happened to me in the past remains in control of my feelings and behaviors in the present.

ALTERNATIVE: While it is true that your confidence was especially vulnerable to external influences when you were a child as you gain maturity appreciation and point of view on what those influences have been. In doing so, you can choose which influences you will continue to allow to have an effect on your life. You don't have to be helpless based on what happened in the past

HERE ARE SOME STRATEGIES FOR DEVELOPING CONFIDENCE

Emphasize Your Strengths. Grant yourself credit for everything that you can do. And bestow upon yourself credit for every new experience you are willing to try.

Take risks. Adopt the attitude of: I never fail, because there are NO failures. However, sometimes I find out what doesn't work and once I've learned what doesn't work in a given situation, I can test something else.

Use Self-Talk: Use self-talk as a tool to counter harmful assumptions. Then, tell yourself to stop. Substitute more reasonable assumptions. For example, when you catch yourself expecting yourself to be perfect, remind yourself that it is impossible to do everything perfectly, and that it's only possible to do things to the best of your ability. This allows you to accept yourself as you are working towards improvement.

Make mental movies: Picture yourself in scenes that you currently have low levels of self-confidence in. But see yourself behaving in the way that a person who has tremendous confidence would.

There are powerful hypnosis and NLP processes that you can use to instill a sizable amount of self-confidence from within your subconscious mind. There are even NLP techniques that will let you take confidence that you do have in areas of your life, and then transplant that confidence to areas of your life that require more self-confidence!

Self-Evaluate: Learn to judge yourself independently. Refrain from the habitual sense of confusion that comes from relying on the opinions of others.

Meditation in the Era of COVID-19: How and Why You Should Start

Picture1.png

The COVID-19 global pandemic has impacted every one of the 8 billion people on our planet in one way or another. Some have gotten sick, whereas some are managing a major job change. Many have lost a loved one. It’s in these tragic times that we learn how important it is to take serious care of not only our physical health but also our mental health.

The status quo — the standard way of thinking — has had to adapt to COVID-19, and it starts with the way we handle fear, stress, and anxiety.

Our world thrives on competition; that global mind state can only lead to high-stress situations. The constant bombardment of stimuli keeps us in a perpetual state of fight or flight, and few situations are more stressful than a global pandemic that has killed millions. However, there is a path through — one that can make not just COVID-19 more manageable, but life in general, as well. It’s called meditation.

What is meditation?

Meditation is the practice of stilling and silencing the mind. Yoga International states that meditation is a technique that can help cultivate a higher state of awareness, one more focused than our normal, everyday consciousness. A regular meditation practice typically occurs once or twice a day for at least 10 to 30 minutes. Some people sit in silence, others in prayer. Some walk, some dance, and some repeat a calming phrase over and over. According to Healthline.com, there are more than nine ways to meditate.

For people who want to cultivate an inner awareness and more positive outlook, transcendental meditation, with its emphasis on mantra, might be appealing. For Christians who want a deeper experience, the Centre for Action and Contemplation recommends Christian contemplation and centring prayer. For people who want to quiet ruminative and self-critical thoughts, especially about past regrets or future worries, Mindworks.org suggests focused meditation.

What are the benefits of meditation?

Study after study has shown that meditation can have a profoundly positive impact on both our physical and mental well-being. Take yoga for example. This popular form of moving meditation can help the mind by staying focused and alert, while allowing the body to let go of stress, tension and chronic pain. Weknowyoga.com shows that powerful yoga practices, like yin yoga, can actually soothe both your mind and body. By learning how to release pain, from achy joints to sad memories, your mind and body can work together to heal.

But yoga is only one way to practice meditation—every kind of meditation technique has benefits. The International Journal of Hypertension published research stating that meditation has been shown to reduce anger — and not just the emotion. Meditation changes the way our bodies physically react to anger, too. In fact, blood pressure and muscle tension can be greatly reduced with meditation. Scienceofpeople.com says that even just sitting in silent meditation for 15 to 30 minutes a day can improve the following:

●       Your overall sense of well-being.

●       Your empathy for others.

●       Your openness to multiple perspectives.

●       Your focus and memory.

●       Your relationships.

●       Your creativity and decision-making abilities.

●       Your cardiovascular and immune systems.

●       Your pain levels.

Most importantly, meditation can help you find synchronicity. Have you ever felt like your life lacks meaning, purpose, or fulfilment? Chances are your life is full of those things — it’s just hard to feel that way because you are mentally and physically out of flow. If those feelings are overwhelming, hypnotherapy, energy medicine, in addition to a regular meditation practice, can also be helpful.

How can I get started?

Meditation is the easiest habit to start, even if all you can spare is two minutes, many websites host a plethora of short guided meditation sessions for free. The key is to find a time and format that fits into your life exactly as it is, then grow from there.

Start simple. If meditation is completely new territory for you, consider using an app like Headspace, Calm, or Insight Timer to get you comfortable with the basics. If you want to understand meditation from a physiological and physiological, expand your practice with books like Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind and Living Your Yoga.

Next, create a soothing yoga space that is comfortable and free of negative energy. You can add yoga cushions, aromatherapy, and music if that helps you settle into a meditative mindset, but all you really need is the ability to plant your feet on the ground and take a few deep breaths.

Meditation is helpful in any season of life, but especially during stressful times like a global pandemic. Once you know what meditation is and how it works, you can create your own practice and start seeing the benefits. Build up your confidence and compassion during the global pandemic with a meditation practice that fits your life and lifestyle.

What ‘Makes’ A Relationship Work For You - And How To Achieve it

Relationship Help (1).png

In the last one hundred years and especially during the pandemic, the boundaries and definitions of what makes a good relationship have been stretched and distorted into so many new and exciting shapes – some good and some awful. So what ‘makes’ a relationship work for you? And what’s more, what could you do to make the relationship that you are in now – even better?

Could you seek more pleasure, better communication, more companionship or a better sex life from your partner?

Using a mixture counselling, NLP, CBT or hypnotherapy ( whichever suits your need) may be what you both are looking for to help you to achieve all of these goals and more.

Within the sessions which you can attend by yourself or with your partner, over time, you will both respond subconsciously and improve your relationship, even if your partner is not participating actively in dealing with the present issues that you are trying to improve!

This means that even if your other half is not interested in going with you for therapy, they can still be affected by it and change for the better. If this is the case you will be shown techniques that will allow your partner to take notice of the process and want to join in.

There are many issues that can “Rock the Boat” when it comes to relationships, however if the reason that you are looking at this article is because you feel that your relationship could be improved, then let me congratulate you for taking the time to read it.

Hypnosis can help you make dramatic changes in your attitude which will ultimately improve your relations with others. And amazingly, - as YOU make these changes, your partner will respond unconsciously, and together you will co-create better communication and rapport.

In basic terms it means that the sessions are very in effective in dealing with the way we think about things. Thinking is powerful, everything starts with a thought! People that have different perceptions normally have different ideas and views about things.

By improving this type of communication you can completely change your relationships for the better! And this is not all. You will also have a tool to help you to achieve the life of your dreams for both you and your partner.

Because we will use the natural processes of the mind and body, you will be amazed just how quickly you will see the benefits! Remember, relationships are not about – big houses, nice cars or even exotic holidays, but they are about two people living and enjoying life as one.

With a little guidance and time you can truly build a beautiful relationship, now isn’t that what you deserve?

"Can hypnosis cure phobias?".

phobias-and-fears.png
kimberley stapleton

The big question is "Can hypnosis cure phobias?".

How long have you been stuck in the prison of fear and anxiety ? Here’s how I can help

Hi I’m Kimberley Stapleton , I have over 35 years experience in Hypnotherapy

That’s me on TV :)

One of the many questions I get asked is “ Can Hypnosis Cure Phobias ? “

I use a mixture of hypnosis, NLP and cognitive behavioural therapy when dealing with fears and phobias. So that we remove the blocks that have been preventing you from living your best life

When the hypnotist you are asking answers with a resounding "yes", the next thought is usually along the lines of "yeah, right".

But you'd be amazed at the high success rate that hypnosis has with phobias.

Top athletes regularly use hypnosis in all areas of their career. One of these areas that they may not be quite as public about is a fear of flying. After all, how can something as common place as flying be something to be afraid of? Surely almost every plane that takes off lands again safely?

Yet fear of flying is a biggie.

Hypnosis to the rescue!

By getting to the core of the fear, hypnosis can turn round the fear of flying and let you face an airport without turning into a quivering wreck.

The same goes for any other fear or phobia you've got.

For instance, if you've been afraid of heights since childhood, you can listen to a hypnosis MP3 and watch the fear melt away. This won't mean that you will lose the natural fear that kicks in when you are about to do something stupid from a height. But it will mean that you can climb a tower or tall building and admire the view, without your knuckles turning white while they are gripping the nearest safe object.

Public speaking is another very common fear. Truth be known, most of the audience probably don't care what you are saying in your presentation.

They're just glad that it's you who drew the short straw rather than them. You can use hypnosis to boost your confidence in public speaking so that you don't break out into a cold sweat the next time you are asked to speak in public.

You’d be amazed what types of phobias people have so .. please don’t think that you can’t talk to me about yours:)

Top Aromatherapy Essential Oils & How I Use Them

My Top 10 Recommended Aromatherapy Essential Oils

Aromatherapy The Concentrated Gift Of The Earth.png

I use aromatherapy oils every day … so I thought I’d give you a little post about what aromatherapy can be used for and how best to use it also some links to the products I use regularly :)

Aromatherapy has been practiced in one form or another for thousands of years. Often it is described as an art but it is also a science – the science of extracting and using oils derived from aromatic plants to enhance health and beauty.

Peppermint Essential oil is promoted for topical use (applied to the skin) for problems like headache, muscle aches, joint pain, and itching. In aromatherapy, peppermint Essential oil is promoted for treating coughs and colds, reducing pain, improving mental function, and reducing stress.

I use peppermint oil in the burner when we have sniffles or other cold symptoms

Commonly used in aromatherapy to elevate mood and alleviate stress, Bergamot Essential oil is also said to have characteristics similar to grapefruit essential oil in that it is antiseptic, antispasmodic, and analgesic (pain-relieving), possibly offering some benefit for health issues like skin infections.

I use use this either in carrier oil or in the diffuser ( see below for details)

Lavender Essential oil: The flower and the oil of Lavender are used to make medicine. Lavender Essential oil is commonly used for anxiety, stress, and insomnia. It is also used for depression, dementia, pain after surgery, and many other conditions.

A Natural Approach to Menopause

Menopause can go one of two ways. It can be a miserable experience characterized by aggravating menopause symptoms. Or, it can be a pain-free transition that’s barely noticeable. In fact, choosing the right menopause supplement can make all the difference.

Menopause symptoms: Common but avoidable. Every woman experiences her own unique set of menopausal symptoms, which can include hot flushes , night sweats, mood swings, heart palpitations, vaginal and urinary changes, and decreased memory and concentration. Most experts agree these symptoms are caused by low or uctuating estrogen levels, which throw everything off kilter. But that doesn’t mean a difficult menopause is unavoidable.

Between 75-85% of American women going through “the change of life” report experiencing menopausal hot flushes. Yet only about 10% of Japanese women do. Why the discrepancy? It’s all in the diet. Japanese women eat several servings of soy a day, which naturally contain anti-hot-flush substances called Isoflavones American women don’t.

Natural Hot Flush Remedies and Menopause Treatments Isoflavones help you get control of hot flushes – but they also provide relief for a whole range of symptoms. How? ,These phyto-nutrients have the remarkable ability to imitate the biological activities of female hormones. That means that even if your own natural levels of estrogen are plummeting, Isoflavones can trick your body into thinking it has enough. Soy is well-known for its natural content of Isoflavones, but most of the research studying Isoflavones for menopause relief has been performed on red clover.

The formula additionally protects cardiovascular health, with patented Actifolate folic acid and resveratrol; supports bone integrity, due to the synergistic activity of Isoflavones and vitamin D; and provides protection to hormone-sensitive tissues, with rosemary and turmeric.

Black Cohosh Essentials Supplement Scientists have conducted numerous studies demonstrating the efficacy of black cohosh for relieving the discomforts of menopause, with minimal or no side effects. In fact, one double-blind, placebo-controlled trial found the herb was 47% more effective than conjugated estrogen at beating menopause hot flushes! Cohosh has also been shown to help alleviate headaches, heart palpitations, and nervousness and irritability associated with menopause. The evidence is so strong that the German Commission E (similar to our FDA) has approved black cohosh as a treatment for menopause. Iron-Free Multivitamin

Are you tired of hurting, feeling pain, and battling with health issues?

migraine relief.png

Migraine, IBS, Teeth Grinding ????

If so, you may be an excellent candidate for hypnosis.

The interesting thing is that the body is very powerful.

For example, when we sleep, the body will begin to rejuvenate and heal itself during the deep stages. This is why when a person has insomnia, not being able to reach the deep stage of sleep; his or her body is tired the next day, which then manifests as headaches, joint pain, depression, irritability, and so on.

The benefit of hypnosis is multi-layered in that it can help you sleep better, thus allowing the body to work through health problems.

One of the keys in striving for better health is listening to your body while it is going through this healing process. With hypnosis, you will learn how to listen to suggestions while your body is in a deep relaxed state, providing an optimum environment for the immune system to work more efficiently.

Through positive suggestion and healing imagery, you have the advantage of taking a break from the stress caused by illness. The result is that you feel better, are not as tired, and certain illnesses improve.

Look at migraines, which for most people, can be debilitating. Sadly, millions of people suffer from migraine headaches at one level or another. Rather than pump the body full of chemicals in hopes of getting relief, you can use hypnosis.

With this, you would close your eyes and listen to suggestions immediately at the onset of a migraine. During this type of hypnotic session, you reach a powerful level of relaxation, which in turn lowers the blood pressure.

Since migraines are caused by blood vessels being constricted, when blood pressure is lowered, it is not trying to rush through small vessels. Best of all, hypnosis is an all-natural approach, easy to use and highly effective.

Just as with migraines, hypnosis is very beneficial for tension headaches. Although hypnosis can help in many ways, there are three specific reasons it works for this particular type of headache. First, hypnosis takes you into a deep state of relaxation, which again, helps to lower blood pressure and reduce pain. Second, stress hormones also begin to drop with hypnosis. Third, you will discover that levels of concentration and memory are greatly improved. Just imagine no more tension headaches simply with the use of hypnosis!

Hypnosis can also be helpful for a condition known as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). In the past 10 years, tremendous research has been done on IBS, a condition in which people suffer from constipation and/or diarrhea, along with abdominal problems. Obviously, IBS can be disruptive to live, making work or school difficult. Now imagine that you work with a qualified and licensed hypnotherapist who can routinely provide you with positive suggestions to get relief from IBS. In truth, people who have gone this route for IBS have experienced up to 80% improvement.

Another area where hypnosis has proven to be highly successful is with teeth grinding. The medical term for teeth grinding is Bruxism, something that both children and adults do. In most cases, Bruxism does no harm but when done on a regular basis, it can cause severe damage to the teeth, as well as other problems such as painful jaws and headaches. Bruxism is often the result of anxiety or stress but can also be the result of missing teeth, crooked, teeth, or abnormal bite. The problem is that most people will grind their teeth while asleep. Therefore, hypnosis can break the habit of tensing up the jaw muscle, stopping the pattern that leads to Bruxism. Since hypnosis works with the subconscious mind, it can be used to reeducate the brain, teaching it to relax muscles. With this, you would have less grinding of the teeth and eliminate the other problems.

As you can see, hypnosis can make a huge difference when it comes to health. These examples are just a few but we wanted to show you the variety of areas in which hypnosis can help. The key is to work with a qualified hypnotherapist who understands the disciplines and principles associated with hypnosis. However, self-hypnosis can also be beneficial but it takes time to learn how to perform it properly. Even so, with the positive suggestions of hypnosis, you can overcome many health issues, leaving you with a long, fulfilled life.

What Is Meant by a Bad Habit?

Happiness is a Habit day 10 Instagram post.png

Hi, Kimberley here

Good Morning 😊

We’re up to day 10 our final day of a light hearted look at habits and why some are good and why some are bad for you .. that way you can choose which ones to keep and also which ones it might not be a bad idea to change :)

Enjoy, and here’s to a transformative 2021

Kimberley xx

For the most part, a bad habit is something that you do repetitively, that you can stop doing when you really and truly decide to, and that society has deemed to be bad. Often it breaks laws, customs or some moral code for the society. Most people think that bad habits are something to be avoided because they can often affect your health and wellness.

There are different categories of bad habits. Let's look at the most common ones.

Time-wasting Habits – Not putting things where they go, not creating a home for everything you own, and not keeping your stuff organized can make you waste time. Wasting time can end up affecting your down time because you still have to make time for work.

Unhealthy Habits – If you have some unhealthy habits like eating unhealthy snacks every night, watching lots of TV instead of doing physical things, and avoiding going to the doctor on a regular basis, you can truly affect your health negatively.

Lost Productivity Habits – If you don’t have a morning routine and you don’t have some sort of schedule for being productive, you will lose opportunities. These types of bad habits are really lack of good habits.

Habits That Harm Your Financial Health – If you’ve developed habits like gambling, these can ruin your financial health today and in the future. Overspending is often started by a bad habit of not minding your finances.

Habits That Impede Your Social Life – For some people, their bad habits can hurt their social life. If you have a bad habit of being late, not caring about others much, or doing behaviors that repel others, you may end up with no social life.

Habits That Harm Others – Some people develop habits that don’t just harm themselves but others too. For example, if you have a smoking habit and you smoke around other people (especially kids), this is a very harmful habit.

Habits That Ruin Relationships – Some people allow their habits to even ruin their relationships. Habits like being sloppy, unclean, and not thinking of others can ruin many relationships, especially if you’re late a lot or gossip too much.

Gross Habits – Smoking and nail biting come to mind when it comes to gross habits that people do. So does nose picking, picking your toes with your fingers, and other rude behavior that you should not do in public (and some not even in private). If you do have these habits, you can stop them with a plan.

Hopefully this information increases your understanding of what is meant by a bad habit. Bad habits are simply habits that are not good for you or anyone else around you - whether human, animal, or the environment.
