Signs It's Time to Change Your Mindset

“The key to abundance is to stop needing more, and to start appreciating what you already have.” – Anonymous

Everyone is talking about changing your mindset to manifest what you desire. How do you know when it’s time to change your mindset? After all, you’ve been thinking the same way for as long as you can remember. Or maybe you’ve had rough patch and your attitude has gotten out of whack. When you start having more negative days than good ones, then it’s time to change your mindset. These are some of the reasons you may want to change your mindset.

Our mindset it what produces the thoughts we have. That is the attitude that shapes our thinking which controls our actions and how we feel about things. If you have a negative attitude, then your thoughts start blaming and thinking the worst. When you have positive or healthy thoughts, you create a better environment for yourself and those around you.

Six Signs it’s Time to Change Your Mindset

 1. You’re always focused on failure instead of succeeding. You feel angry and disappointed over every failure without celebrating your success. You constantly see yourself as a failure, unconsciously sending negative messages to your mind that you will fail at what ever you try to accomplish. Instead: Keep a success diary acknowledging every success each day, no matter how small.

 2. You are a victim mentality. You’ve been a victim of bad experiences or been hurt by others you love. Or you were traumatized from some event. You’re still holding onto those moments. Instead: Forgive and let go of the past.

 3. You have social media envy. You see the unnatural glamorous lifestyles of other people online, and it makes you feel worse about yourself. You devalue what you have. You focus on what you don’t have or aren’t doing. Instead: Think about what you do have and be show gratitude for it. There are billions of people on this planet and at least a billion would love to have your life.

 4. You see work as a chore. You dread going to work, complain about doing the work, or feel like it’s a burden. Instead, view your job as a means of providing value to others and as having an impact on you and others around you. Being able to work gives you the opportunity to contribute to society and if necessary start to work towards changing what you do for a job.

 5. You obsess about things you can’t control or change. You complain about what you can’t control like the weather, government, traffic and other people. Your mind is filled with everything you don’t like, rather than what you can control which is yourself. Identify how you can change and control your own actions and thoughts to make the experience more positive. Stop complaining and start taking actions that will bring you a greater sense of accomplishment and abundance.

 6. You lack gratitude for what you have. You focus on what is wrong with things or the world, or the inadequacies in yourself and others. Instead, acknowledge that no one is perfect, and everyone learns lessons as they go. Focus on identifying the positive things you are grateful for every day.

When you realize that the reason you rarely feel happy and content is because of a negative mindset, you know it’s time to change your mindset to feel better about yourself and attract more abundance into your life.

Get Into Shape With Hypnosis For Slimming – Relax To Lose Weight!

weight-loss-hypnosis_orig.jpg

Hypnosis for slimming sounds like a contradiction to some people, because it undermines everything that everyone has told you is the best way to shed weight.

What if I were to tell you that you could lose those inches off your waist just by relaxing?

Lose those extra kilos just by prompting your mind to increase the metabolism, and instructing it to curb binging and snacking? You might even be feeling exasperated at this suggestion; because you spent hundreds of pounds trying to sweat it out in the gym, you are losing precious sleep over that early morning jog, and worse still you have been on a crash diet for the last two weeks only to find out that there is an easier and more effective way of getting back your curves!

Hypnosis for slimming is not a stopgap method of losing weight, mind you, it is a way of changing your entire lifestyle. Hypnosis for slimming does not prescribe special diets or routine exercises directly, but instead helps in empowering you to make necessary lifestyle changes for the new you. As is its nature, Hypnotherapy for slimming works on the power of positive suggestion. Through repeated sessions of hypnosis you can train and educate your mind to automatically choose food which is healthy for you, as well as control over eating.

I have always mentioned that our little brain has more power than we can ever imagine, and that the subconscious is a veritable gold mine; the only problem is that most of us haven’t started digging yet. The moment we start tapping into its potential, we will truly realise its powers. Remember that our subconscious can be trained into doing things that you want; and this training can be provided by regular Hypnosis sessions. Working on the principle of auto-feed, you will be able to train your mind to do anything…including slimming down.

The first step towards getting into shape through hypnosis is to understand what really the problem is. What is the root cause of your binging? Why can’t you help but reach out for dollops of ice-cream every time you are down? Through the use of analytical hypnosis, we can figure out the underlying issue and then work the hypnotherapy sessions around it. Yes, hypnosis for slimming is customised depending upon the client’s situation. A therapist will need to understand what sends you gravitating towards food – is it low self confidence, self image, depression, reward eating, or comfort eating? Based on the analysis, a suitable hypnosis routine can be worked out for you.

The second stage here is called suggestion therapy, where you will put the power of positive suggestion to good use. By suggesting to your subconscious what’s good for it and what isn’t you will be shaping your own future, which will definitely be leaner and fitter than your past. Through making positive reinforcements about yourself and your eating habits to your mind you will be gently moulding it to follow a healthier diet and better eating habits. Hypnosis for slimming is one of the easiest and most long lasting ways of losing weight and keeping it that way. So go ahead, try Hypnotherapy and lose those kilos simply by relaxing!.

If you think That Hypnotherapy can help you in anyway.

Nine Ways to De-Stress

de-stress-your life.jpg

It’s become almost a cliché—modern life is often fraught with stress, and almost everyone is ironically too busy to deal with it. It can be easy to excuse it away and say that we work best under stress, that stress is a great motivator. This is partly true; the good type of stress, known as “eustress” helps us seize the moment, and invigorates us to achieve a tangible goal.

On the flip side, there is also bad stress, called “distress”, that can be harmful in the long run. When we face either type of stress in our daily lives, our bodies respond by secreting a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol is useful to help us react to temporary stress, like the stress caused by deadlines. But scientists say that too much cortisol can cause weight gain, negative emotions, joint discomfort, and more.

Unfortunately anxious feelings and stressful situations are not going to simply disappear. This is where dealing with our stress becomes a priority. Managing a lot of daily stress comes down to some simple and quick solutions listed below. While this list is not comprehensive, it is a start in helping you identify ways to help yourself. We recommend that you pick the easiest solutions for you, and then practice them on a daily basis or whenever you feel the need.

  1. In any situation, take two minutes to breathe. We’re not just talking about trying to breathe deeply in and out here, though that is the start of it. Improve on this idea by using the 4–7–8 breathing exercise. Breathing only through your nose, count to four as you deeply inhale, then count to seven as you hold your breath, and count to eight as you exhale. Repeat the cycle three more times. This should take around two minutes to complete. This will help you focus on your body and help you breathe more deeply on a regular basis without even needing to think about it.

  2. Drink herbal tea. If you’ve never tried herbal tea, now might be a good time to give it a try for some stress relief. Teas like lemon balm, peppermint, chamomile, or passion flower are helpful. You can incorporate essential oils into your tea as well—infuse a drop of essential oils like Roman Chamomile, Lavender, or Melissa into herbal teas like chamomile to soothe the body and mind.* Just the act of drinking warm tea can also be soothing and relaxing and just the boost you need for the day.

  3. Get outside in the fresh air. Although this is easier to do when the weather is nice, even when the weather is not ideal, it is a good idea to at least get a few minutes of fresh air each day and get your body moving. Reconnecting to the outside world and nature can help you refocus and feel better. If you can’t go outside in this moment, reach for Vetiver. Its calming and grounding effect on emotions is great to diffuse, or to put directly in your palms, cup your hands around your nose, and inhale.

  4. Exercise for at least for 30 minutes a day, five days a week. Exercise is known to bump up the level of endorphin production, improves your mood, and helps you move past the day’s irritations.

  5. Set out 10 minutes in the morning for meditation. In yoga specifically, meditating is about being grounded physically and mentally, and coming to an expanded state of awareness. You can start meditating by choosing a consistent time and place, and then picking something to focus on for that session. (Examples of different focuses include a helpful intention or affirmation like “I am relaxed”, counting your breath as in point number one, or visualizing your favorite spot in nature and trying to keep your focus on that only.) Don’t be discouraged if your mind starts to wander, just refocus back on your purpose. You can also increase the effects of mediation by diffusing calming oils like Frankincense while you practice. There are many other ways to meditate, try different kinds before you determine how to incorporate it into your daily life.

  6. Give yourself a hand massage. According to a 2008 study published by the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, a five-minute hand massage can lower stress levels. If you can’t find anyone to give you one, you can massage your own hands. To reduce the effects of daily stress, put a drop of Ylang Ylang or AromaTouch® and some Fractionated Coconut Oil into your palms and massage your hand slowly.

  7. Apply PastTense® or doTERRA Peace®. Because PastTense comes in a roll-on bottle, this grounding and soothing blend is convenient and easy to use. (doTERRA Peace also comes in a roll-on version that is equally as easy.) You can apply either blend to your temples, wrists, or the back of your neck in times when you need to quickly ease stressful or anxious feelings on the go.

  8. Ensure that you get enough sleep. Dr. David K. Hill, doTERRA Chief Medical Advisor, insists that, “Sufficient amounts of rest provide bodies with an opportunity to recover from the day’s activity, improve energy levels, and reduce the effects of stress.” If you currently struggle with falling asleep, diffuse doTERRA Serenity® about 30 minutes before you go to bed, or take doTERRA Serenity® Softgels.

  9. Generate a support system. This may be our most important tip, because even though it can be hard to reach out to others when you feel overwhelmed, sometimes it is necessary to depend on other people for help. Don’t try to keep going alone. Even if the stress is over something that you feel you have to do alone, at least having someone there to listen or give you a hug (which is proven to help with stress on its own) can help more than you realize.

Reduce Everyday Stress with Hypnosis

everyday-stress.jpg

Are you wondering why you feel stressed or anxious when there doesn't seem to be any major reason for it?

Do you find yourself getting tense, sleeping badly, and feeling irritable a lot of the time, even though outwardly things appear to be okay?

When we look at other people, it often seems that things are going pretty smoothly for them. Maybe other people have said this about you - commented on the 'good life' that you seem to have.

And maybe it's even true that, overall, things are more or less okay, or even very good. So it feels very unfair - and a bit of mystery - if you find that you are constantly stressed.

If you could find a real 'cause' to pin it on, you might feel better about it. If there was a big personal problem, like a bereavement, or a divorce, or trouble at work, the sort of thing that everyone agrees is stressful.

But if you feel you 'really have nothing to complain about', you begin to wonder what on earth is going on.

The truth about the stress of ordinary life

The truth is, stress isn't all about the big stuff. Stress is a spectrum, not an on/off switch. At any time, a range of different pressures may be affecting your life, and all to a different degree.

If they are at the lower end of the spectrum, but there are a lot of them, the cumulative effect can be as great as if a single one of the 'big beasts' is rampaging about in your life.

This is why everyday stress levels can build up without you noticing. It's just a little bit here, a little bit there - but it all wears away at you.

And it deserves to be taken as seriously as you would take major stress. That is, you need to look after yourself - no matter how good your life looks on the outside.

How hypnosis can help you manage your stressors better

Why not Book a customised in person session to Reduce Everyday Stress that will help you relax deeply and minimize the impact of those invisible everyday pressures. Treat yourself as you really deserve now and get those worries out of your life.

After your session, you'll notice that

  • you feel much calmer and more relaxed generally

  • you sleep better

  • your mood improves and you feel more cheerful and optimistic

  • you are more resilient and can handle things better

  • you are enjoying life more

How to Improve Fertility With Hypnosis

hypnosis for fertilty.jpg

Hypnosis has been shown to double the chance of fertilization

Research has shown that hypnosis for fertility doubles the success of IVF treatment.

Researchers at Soroka University in Israel found that 28% of woman in the group that were hypnotised became pregnant compared to 14% of those were not hypnotised.

This research study of 185 women was presented to the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology conference in Berlin. The Israeli researchers aimed to discover whether hypnosis could make the embryo transfer stage of IVF more successful.

During this stage, the embryo is transferred into the womb. However, if the womb is contracting, it can affect the chances of the transplant being a success. The research found that, indeed hypnosis did seem to greatly increase chances of becoming pregnant.

While this study is related specifically to IVF, it goes some way to explain the phenomenon of hypnotherapy clients getting pregnant when being treated for another issue.

The reduction in stress appears to improve the chances of a pregnancy 'taking'.

Stress and fertility

IVF fertility treatment tends to be a stressful time but stress can have a blocking effect on fertility success. This is why woman will often become pregnant at the very point they stop trying. The trying causes stress and prevents the very thing you are aiming to achieve.

Getting pregnant needs to be allowed as much as forced.

Using Essential Oils to help with Sleep

copaiba-sleep.jpg

Using Essential Oils to help with Sleep

Having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep is a prevalent issue; 33 percent of Americans are not getting the recommended amount of sleep per night. While some might be tempted to excuse away their lack of sleep, depriving your body of sleep has a broad range of negative impacts on your body. There are a variety of reasons for this, including a higher-stress modern society, electronics, and an increase in sleep related problems. There are many sleep aids on the market that promise to alleviate this issue, but many methods have unwanted side effects. One huge benefit of essential oils includes the impact they can have on sleep in a natural, balanced way.

Keep reading to learn how to use essential oils for sleep.

Calming Essential Oils

Many essential oils for sleep have calming benefits. Essential oils like Lavender and Bergamot are rich in linalool and linalyl acetate; both compounds have well-known relaxing properties. These oils can be diffused aromatically in the bedroom to create a peaceful environment before bed. They can also be taken internally to calm the nervous system, promote relaxation, and lead to a restful sleep.* You can add two to four drops of Lavender or Bergamot essential oil to herbal teas like chamomile or Lemongrass about 30 minutes before going to bed. Alternately, when you’re not in the mood for a warm drink, simply add two to four drops of Lavender into an empty capsule and swallow.

Aside from Lavender and Bergamot, many oils can be diffused to help create the soothing environment you need to fall asleep.

Some essential oils for sleep need to be taken internally for their benefits. Petitgrain, Vetiver, and Roman Chamomile all can be taken internally to help soothe your body and prepare for sleep.*

doTERRA Serenity™ Restful Complex Softgels

To relieve occasional sleeplessness, take doTERRA Serenity Softgels.* The softgel contains a combination of Lavender essential oil, L-theanine (an amino acid found in green tea), and plant extracts including lemon balm, passionflower, and german chamomile. Multiple studies show the benefits of all the ingredients on improving your sleep.*

L-theanine specifically has been shown to improve sleep efficiency which refers to the amount of time you are actually asleep. It also improves sleep latency, or the amount of time it takes you to fall asleep once the lights are off. Both are important to healthy sleep as those who are able to fall asleep faster are usually more likely to have efficient sleep.

More Tips to Help You Sleep

Eat Well. Avoid high-carbohydrate foods which flood the muscles with glucose, causing involuntary muscle movements during sleep, and disruption. When you get the night time munchies, it often means that your body is tired, so it may just be time to head for bed. Otherwise, try snacking on nuts. Nuts provide protein and fat, which are not only satisfying, but are slowly digested, which can provide a calm sleep. They are also rich in magnesium, a mineral that helps to calm the nervous system.

Exercise at the right time, or do the right type of exercise. Getting plenty of exercise keeps our weight in check, but it can also help with sleep. The downside is that exercising too close to bedtime ramps up metabolism and body temperature and can make it difficult to fall asleep. If you prefer working out at night, try to keep your workout in the evening at least three or four hours away from bedtime. Or, change up the exercise you do—stretching and yoga are perfect to soothe the mind and unwind.

Get into a routine. Try to maintain a regular sleep schedule, going to bed at the same time and waking up at the same time. Creating this rhythm helps regulate your body’s internal clock and may help you sleep better.

Avoid bright light and electronics. Remove all electronics from the bedroom, including televisions, computers, and other electronic devices. Try to avoid bright light at least an hour before going to bed. Darkness will help your body begin producing melatonin, a hormone that naturally regulates sleep.

Create a haven for sleep. Put to use the various essential oils for sleep. Make sure your bedroom is a quiet, dark, and relaxing environment, which is neither too hot, nor too cold. Your bed and pillows should be supportive, yet comfortable. Your body needs time to shift into sleep mode, so spend the last hour before bed doing a calming activity such as reading or taking a warm bath.

Relearn How to Fall Asleep Fast And Enjoy a Good Night's Sleep

sleep.jpg

Hypnosis can retrain your mind and body to fall asleep as nature intended

Are you fed up lying awake at night?

Do you yearn for a good night's sleep?

Too tired to sleep?

Not being able to go to sleep quickly is very frustrating, and tiring. Even one night of short or broken sleep leaves you feeling tired and under par, so when it's taking you ages to fall asleep night after night, it can quickly wear you down.

Too tired to be awake

Symptoms of sleep deprivation are both mental and physical. Concentration, energy and confidence decrease. You may have even become too tired to complete your usual day to day tasks and think straight.

You might find yourself not being able to make decisions very quickly or perhaps become easily irritated by others around you. Feeling depressed, negative and anxious are also fairly common effects and your lack of energy may stop you doing things that you normally enjoy, such as meeting up with friends.

What's stopping you falling asleep?

Maybe you worry that you can't sleep, which reinforces and perpetuates the problem. Each bedtime you feel. 'I'll never get to sleep'...."I'm going to be exhausted tomorrow" and you may also be constantly trying to work out how to fall asleep fast.

This problem means that sleep is no longer the natural process that it should be. You have probably reached the point of losing your patience with always 'trying' to go to sleep - you've drunk your share of chamomile tea and counted the proverbial sheep but sleep still isn't your friend.

Right now you may find going to bed unappealing and you might be putting it off by staying up later and later which makes you feel even worse.

Pressure to sleep

It may be that at the moment the pressures of everyday life such as work or family problems are causing you to be stressed, anxious or angry. All of these emotions can easily interfere with your ability to relax and therefore disrupt your sleep patterns. Or you may be experiencing chronic pain, which should be checked with your doctor.

Do you find yourself still trying to solve problems at the end of the day or have lots of thoughts running through your mind whilst lying in bed? Just this alone can make sleep difficult- even if you don't feel like you're stressed.

You may have problems falling asleep fast because of noise around you, drinking caffeine before go to bed or because there have been changes in your routine or diet. All these things not only delay you falling asleep but can affect the quality of sleep you have making you still feel tired in the morning.

Not falling asleep is a habit that can be changed

Like most people who can't go to sleep, you might have tried lots of short terms fixes such as sedatives and sleeping pills to get you to sleep quickly. This may have worked for the odd night or two; however these quick fixes probably didn't make you feel any better the next day. This is because you tend to get less deep sleep by taking these kinds of pills.

Even though you may have had sleep problems for a while now, your unstable sleep pattern that has developed can be changed. It is just a habit that has got in the way of the natural processes of sleep. When it comes to bed time you now just expect to take ages to fall asleep so your mind is anxious and active. In order for the natural process to happen the mind and body needs to be relaxed.

Stop Putting People on a Pedestal

hypnotherapy malta

Let hypnosis help you connect more naturally with others and put yourself on the same level as others

Do you have a tendency to idealise people?

Do you often feel inferior to people who have qualities you admire?

We all idealise people from time to time. As an obvious example, you can probably think of a teenage crush who, in your lovestruck eyes, could do no wrong. (Of course, later in life you likely came to realise just how distorted your view of that person really was!)

There's nothing wrong with putting people on a pedestal from time to time. It's good to recognize qualities we respect and admire in others, as it can help us shape our own personal beliefs and values, and inspire us to better ourselves. The problem arises when we magnify those qualities to an unrealistic degree.

When we see others as superior, we necessarily see ourselves as inferior, which creates an unfair and harmful self-image. Not only that, it can also be uncomfortable for the person on the pedestal, who may worry that they can't live up to the standard you've set for them. Most importantly, it creates a sense of distance that quashes any chance of real human connection.

We are all just human beings

When we put someone on a pedestal, we fail to recognise that their strengths are offset by plenty of weaknesses, too. To genuinely connect with others, it is critical to realise this. We can learn to see and accept all of a person - the good and the bad, the unique and the ordinary. We can nurture the understanding that we are all just human beings, each of us with the same intrinsic value and worth.

That's what this session is going to help you to do: to see people as they really are. To break free of the habit of magnifying people's strengths, while ignoring their weaknesses. You can still look up to people you admire, and you can even put people on a pedestal now and then. But you'll recognize this for the distorted view that it is, knowing that in reality they are no better than you or anyone else.

How hypnosis can help

I offer in person tailored sessions to help or why not try this download .. Stop Putting People on a Pedestal is an audio hypnosis session that will help you stop idealizing people.

As you relax and listen repeatedly to your session, you'll notice that you:

  • Recognize that all humans have the same inherent value

  • Naturally treat others simply as fellow human beings on the same level as you

  • Relate to others in a more comfortable, relaxed way

  • Feel more confident and self-assured in general.

Overcome the Fear of Giving Birth

pregnancy+fear.jpg

Trust your body's instincts and build positive expectations for childbirth

Are you terrified by the prospect of childbirth?

Does the mere thought of it fill your mind with images of pain and horror?

It's perfectly normal to feel scared, even terrified, of giving birth. Many women feel this way in the leadup to childbirth, and when you look at the way it is portrayed in the media it is hardly surprising. Of course, it's not helped by the fact that women who go through painful births are often the first to share their stories, while those who have an easier time may keep quiet.

Your mind may be filled with negative images based on what you've seen on TV, or stories you've heard from friends or family. If a close family member has had a painful birth experience, you may worry that your experience will be similar. But every woman is different, and every birth experience is unique. There is no reason to expect that your experience will mirror those of other family members.

Let your instincts take over

The good news is that childbirth is not invariably a painful, drawn-out experience. Many times it is actually the anxiety and tension itself that interferes with what should be a perfectly natural, instinctive process. If you can learn to relax and trust in your body's ability to do what women have been successfully doing for thousands of generations, you give your body an excellent chance of delivering your baby quickly and comfortably.

When you can approach childbirth with a relaxed attitude and avoid consciously trying to control the process, you will find that a "deeper you" takes over. This deeper you operates at the subconscious level, driven by a powerful instinct that has evolved over hundreds of thousands of years. When you let this primal instinct take the reins, you can simply focus on relaxing and letting your body do what it needs to do.

Overcome Fear You've Done Something Wrong

Learn to distance yourself from the doubt and focus on more productive things

Do you spend an inordinate amount of time wondering whether you've made some kind of terrible mistake?

Are you constantly plagued by doubt?

Maybe you're pouring over something you said to a friend, wondering if they took offence. Perhaps you're concerned that client took their business elsewhere because of something you did. Or maybe you can't stop thinking about that red light you may or may not have accidentally run. Regardless of what it is you're obsessing over, fear you've done something wrong is never fun.

Thinking back over our actions and checking for errors is a natural and, in moderation, useful part of being human. But, like most things in life, when we do this to excess it can start to cause problems. Recurrent, intrusive doubts can cause guilt and anxiety, and leave us constantly seeking reassurance.

So what can you do to help divert your mind away from these frustrating and fruitless thoughts?

A strategy for driving out doubt

First, you need to externalize your doubt. This doesn't mean suppressing it, but rather gaining some distance from it so that it is separate from who you fundamentally are. Recognize it for the imaginary or insignificant concern that it is. When you do, you will find that it immediately loses some of its power over you.

Next, you need to soothe and calm the fear that has been stirred up by that doubt. Now that you have gained some distance from it, you can approach this just as you would approach soothing and calming a child or a friend. Sit with your fear, and gently, purposefully relax with it. Validate it, but don't succumb to it.

Finally, when those emotions have settled, you can calmly, deliberately redirect your attention to something more productive or enjoyable. The more often you do this, the more you will reinforce these neural pathways so that you naturally focus on purposeful action rather than dwelling on your doubts.

How hypnosis can help

Overcome Fear You've Done Something Wrong is an audio hypnosis session that will guide you to distance yourself from your obsessive doubts and soothe the associated anxiety.

As you relax and listen repeatedly to your session, you'll notice that you:

  • See your doubts objectively as imaginary and insignificant

  • Can put aside obsessive thoughts to focus on more useful, productive things

  • Are more trusting in yourself and your judgment

  • Feel calmer, more clear-headed, and more confident in general.
